'Ask your AI assistant for predictapp's probabilities'
Paste one address into ChatGPT or Claude, sign in to predictapp, and ask in plain words. No key, no code.
One address is all you need
No API key and no client ID. Your assistant registers itself and sends you to sign in to predictapp.
https://app.predictapp.io/mcpBefore you connect
You need a predictapp account. On a paid plan your calls are already included: 500 a month on Soccer or NFL, each for its own sport, and 650 on Global. No plan? Your account gets €1.00 of credit, and you can top up or add the API & MCP subscription in the web app, under Settings, API & MCP.
ChatGPT
- 1.Open chatgpt.com/plugins.
- 2.Select the + button, then "Add custom MCP server".
- 3.Name it predictapp and give it a short description.
- 4.Under Connection, enter the address above.
- 5.For authentication, choose OAuth. ChatGPT registers itself, so leave any client ID and secret empty.
- 6.Review the warning, select "I understand and want to continue", then "Create as a plugin".
- 7.Sign in to predictapp when asked, and approve.
This adds predictapp to your own ChatGPT account. It is not a listing in ChatGPT's directory. What you can add depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
OpenAI's guide to custom MCP serversClaude
- 1.Go to Customize, then Connectors.
- 2.Click "+ Add", then "Add custom connector".
- 3.Name it predictapp, paste the address above and click Continue.
- 4.Under Authentication, choose "Sign in now". Leave the OAuth client on automatic registration. Click Add.
- 5.Sign in to predictapp when asked, and approve.
- 6.In a conversation, click +, choose Connectors and switch predictapp on.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds the connector under Organization settings, Connectors, and each member then clicks Connect. Free plans can add one custom connector.
Claude's guide to custom connectorsOther AI clients
Other AI clients that support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in can connect the same way: add the address as a remote server and sign in when asked. A client that cannot sign in with OAuth cannot connect.
What you approve
- ›Access for this assistant to predictapp's predictions, using your included calls, or your credit when you ask for pay-per-prediction.
- ›Your account ID, through the openid permission, and usually offline_access, which keeps the assistant connected without signing in again.
- ›Some assistants also ask for your email, profile or phone. The sign-in screen lists exactly what this assistant asks for before you connect. The connection cannot reach the rest of your app data.
What you can ask
The assistant picks the right tool for what you ask. Developers will find each tool's exact schema in the machine contract.
Find a game or a player
“Find Arsenal's next match.”
find_predictionCheck your balance, calls left, or a price
“How much credit do I have, and what would the full prediction for that match cost?”
get_machine_accessRead a game prediction
“Show me the probabilities and fair prices for that match.”
get_game_predictionNFL player props
“What does predictapp give the Chiefs' quarterback for passing yards this week?”
get_player_propsTwo events in the same game
“What is the chance the Chiefs win and the game goes over 44.5 points?”
get_joint_event_probabilityFantasy rankings, projections and Start/Sit
“Should I start my first or my second wide receiver in PPR this week?”
get_fantasySave a bet you placed
“Save my bet: Chiefs to win at 1.85, one unit.”
save_forecast_selectionYour saved bets
“List the bets I saved this week.”
get_saved_forecastsYou decide what it spends
- ›Finding games, checking your balance and quoting a price never cost anything, and do not use a call.
- ›Predictions use your included calls by default, which spends no credit.
- ›Your credit is only used when you ask for pay-per-prediction. If your calls run out, the assistant stops: it does not switch to your wallet.
- ›Tell your assistant to show you the price and wait for your OK before it buys. Connecting it does not mean it may spend freely.
- ›Every paid call carries a spending ceiling, and a call never costs more than its ceiling.
- ›What you already own is free to read again.
Your plan's calls and the pay-per-prediction prices are the same as the API's. See the plans and prices
Disconnect any time
In the web app, open Settings, API & MCP. Under AI connections, click Disconnect next to the assistant.
If something goes wrong
- ›The assistant says it is not signed in (UNAUTHENTICATED): it may have been disconnected, or its sign-in ran out. Remove predictapp and add it again.
- ›Not enough credit (INSUFFICIENT_CREDIT): top up in Settings, API & MCP.
- ›The price is above the ceiling (MAX_CHARGE_EXCEEDED): nothing was bought. Ask for the quote, then allow that price.
- ›No included calls, or none left (SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED, SUBSCRIPTION_QUOTA_EXHAUSTED): ask how many calls you have left, or ask for pay-per-prediction instead.
- ›Your plan does not cover this (PRODUCT_NOT_INCLUDED): a Soccer plan asking for an NFL game, for example. Add a plan that covers it, or ask for pay-per-prediction.
- ›Game not available (NOT_COVERED): the game is not covered, or sales closed at kickoff.
- ›Never paste an API key, password or token into a chat, and never send one to support. The connection does not need one.
