PPR, half PPR and standard score yards and touchdowns the same way. The only difference is a reception: 1 point in PPR, 0.5 in half PPR, 0 in standard.

How the format changes the players

Every format gives 1 point for every 10 rushing or receiving yards, 6 for a rushing or receiving touchdown, 1 for every 25 passing yards, 4 for a passing touchdown, -2 for an interception and -2 for a lost fumble. A two-point conversion is worth 2.

In PPR a receiver who catches eight short passes for 60 yards scores 14 points; in standard he scores 6. Pass-catching backs and slot receivers climb in PPR, and touchdown-dependent backs climb in standard.

Scoring formats, answered

Which format is most common?

PPR and half PPR are the most common in season-long leagues. Standard is older and still common in some leagues.

Does the format change quarterbacks?

Barely. Quarterbacks score from passing and rushing, and receptions do not count for them.
