Reading a floor and a ceiling

predictapp's floor is the score a player falls below about 1 week in 10, and its ceiling the score he goes above about 1 week in 10. Between them sit 8 weeks in 10.

Two players can have the same projection and very different ranges. A possession receiver has a high floor and a low ceiling; a deep threat the opposite.

When you are the favourite in your matchup, the higher floor protects the win. When you need a big week to catch up, the higher ceiling gives you the chance.

No. It is a bad week, not the worst week. About 1 week in 10 comes in lower.
